Physiotherapy Education
Ruth Chang graduated as a physiotherapist with First-Class Honors from Curtin University in Western Australia in 2009. She has subsequently completed her Masters of Clinical Physiotherapy (Manipulative Therapy Major) where she was awarded the ‘Brian Edwards Prize’ for the student with the best clinical results. She is currently completing a PhD.
Physiotherapy Experience
Ruth has extensive and varied clinical experience. She has undertaken research looking at bone density in athletes and the biopsychosocial aspects of managing clients. Ruth excels in treating neck pain and lower back pain and has extensive experience in treating injuries in anyone from weekend warriors to elite athletes and even aged care facility residents. She is a regular travelling physio with Kate Bevilaqua, 3x Ironman Champion and Ultra 520k Canada Champion.
Personal Life
Ruth loves the outdoors and is passionate about leading a healthy lifestyle. She can usually be found swimming, cycling or running in preparation for her next ironman triathlon.
