Physiotherapy Education
Ruth graduated as a physiotherapist with First-Class Honors from Curtin University in Western Australia in 2009. She has also completed a Masters of Clinical Physiotherapy (Manipulative Therapy Major) where she was awarded the ‘Brian Edwards Prize’ for the student with the best clinical results. In 2025, Ruth completed a PhD. Her thesis was entitled "Exploring the Role of Movement in a Randomised Controlled Trial of Cognitive Functional Therapy for Chronic Disabling Low Back Pain".
Physiotherapy Experience
Ruth has extensive and varied clinical experience. She has worked in Aged Care Facilities, travelled with professional triathletes and worked in Emergency as an Advanced Scope Physiotherapist. She excels in treating back pain and is known for her person‑centred approach and ability to individualise care to a person’s goals and needs.
Personal Life
Ruth loves the outdoors and is passionate about leading a healthy lifestyle. She can usually be found swimming, cycling or running in preparation for her next ultra marathon or ironman triathlon.
